Our Products
These bars are made of glass fibers. They are very resistant in tension and are made with vinyl ester resin to resist corrosion. The fibers provide the stiffness properties to the bars, while the vinyl ester resin provides the corrosion resistance property for extreme use in chemical or alkaline environments.
A product made of vinyl ester and basalt fiber is also available for structures requiring more rigidity and other mechanical properties. Composite rebar significantly increases the longevity of civil engineering structures where corrosion is an important factor.
Compared with conventional steel bars, composite reinforcing bars are specifically optimal for the following types of structures:
• Structures subject to de-icing salts
• Structures requiring magnetic and electrical neutrality
• Low walls submerged in salt water or coastal structures
• Structures subject to corrosive agents

Consulwal ICF Blocks
Consulwal™ ICF's is a light weight, high strength, permanent in-place concrete form that is less labor intensive than either concrete wall forming or block construction. Consulwal™ concrete insulated walls require up to 25% less concrete and produce concrete up to 50% stronger. ICF construction generated up to 66% energy savings and provided 58% better effective R-Value.
ICFs help architects, designers and contractors stay on schedule, build durable, beautiful projects and meet or exceed increasingly strict energy codes for insulation. Constructing with ICFs reduces the building’s carbon footprint and saves money on energy bills and reduced maintenance and repairs when compared to traditional building methods, such as wood frame construction.
MiTek Canada, Inc.’s POSI-STRUT® floor trusses minimize the environmental footprint by incorporating renewable as well as recycled materials to fight climate change by reducing greenhouse gases. Available in 9-1/4”, 11-1/4”, 11-7/8”, 12-3/4”, 14” & 16” depths to match most conventional or engineered lumber products.
A full range of galvanized diagonals are available to produce various floor depths (9.25”, 11.25”, 11.875” 12.75”, 14” and 16”). Besides the useful open-web concept, POSI-STRUT® accommodates a variety of different conditions on site without having to cut and reinforce the product on site. Custom built for every customer’s needs, POSI-STRUT® Engineered open web floor systems have CCMC certification, fire, and sound certified assemblies. The product is designed in our suite of software and fully supported by our experienced engineering team.
